Bridgeton man sentenced to eight years in child pornography case

  • News

A Bridgeton man who pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography was sentenced to 96 months in federal prison Friday.
When Bruce Jackson's home was searched in August 2018, agents found more than 300 videos of child sexual abuse, including sadomasochism, bestiality and the sexual exploitation of infants, according to the original charges.
The complaint contains details of videos each showing a young girl being sexually assaulted by an adult male.
The names of the files are too graphic to fully print, but include what seem to be ages of the young girls with one listed as 4 years old.
Jackson used a peer-to-peer file-sharing program to download and share the videos and images.
Between November 2017 and June 2018, law enforcement downloaded 61 videos of child sexual abuse from Jackson’s computer.
Jackson will have five years of supervised release when he completes his eight year sentence, and must register as a sex offender.
Judge Noel Hillman imposed the sentence by videoconference via U.S. District Court in Camden.

NOTE: Neither the U.S. Attorney's Office nor federal prisons release mugshots of inmates.
