Local businesses answered a hospital's call for helping COVID patients communicate.
Alexander Fine Design Construction, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of South Jersey and Sal's Coal Fired Pizza donated 12 video baby monitors to help keep an eye on the quarantined patients.
The three businesses also joined to feed 75 frontline workers.
"Thank you to these generous friends for heeding our call, and going above and beyond to help their community hospital during these very trying times," read a post on the hospital's Facebook page.
The hospital also received four new iPads from the Egg Harbor Township Elks.
The tablets help patients see and talk with their loved ones while in the hospital.
This is "an essential tool in providing them with the connections they need to keep up their spirits," the hospital's post read.
In the spring, the Elks also donated face shields they made themselves.
