The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday will be honored virtually Monday.
In light of COVID, Atlantic City will forego its annual march that leads to a gathering at the Civil Rights Garden for a celebration that will be broadcast via Zoom and on the radio.
Minister Kerwin Webb, the youth and young adult pastor at the Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park will be the keynote speaker.
The program will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. and can be heard via WEHA Gospel 88.7/100.3.

The state will also have a Virtual Youth Conference that will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.
The "Youth, We Hear You!" conference is meant to help young people identify their gifts, talent and opportunities through a series of panels, workshops, networking and other opportunities throughout the day.
It will highlight the life and legacy of Dr. King through sessions on “Justice Matters,” “Health Equity Matters," and “Dr. King’s Global Impact,” with consuls-general of India and Ghana, nations that Dr. King visited.
