A Pleasantville man was severely injured when a driver struck his scooter Wednesday.
Troy Hall, 59, was heading north on Chestnut Avenue toward West Jersey Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Ruth Rosario-Crisotom, Lt. Stacey Schlachter said.
Rosario-Crisotom, 19, also of Pleasantville, was turning left onto West Jersey Avenue when the accident happened, according to the report.
Hall sustained a severe lower leg/foot injury, Schlachter said.
A Good Samaritan rendered aid until a medics arrived.
Hall was treated on scene and then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for further treatment.
Rosario-Crisistom was not injured. She was issued traffic summonses for careless driving.
