A Somers Point woman died after her car crashed into a telephone pole in Pleasantville on Tuesday morning.
Allison Tomasello, 31, was traveling north on Main Street when her vehicle left the road around Utah Avenue, and collided with a retention wall and a telephone pole at about 6:30 a.m., Lt. Stacey Schlachter said.
Tomasello was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Pleasantville Fire Department, Northfield Police Department, Galloway Township Police Department, Tricare and AtlantiCare Medics responded and assisted.
The cause of the crash has not been determined. Detective Juan Morillo is investigating.
