A woman is in critical condition and a man is dead after a stabbing Saturday night in Atlantic City.
Police were called to a residence on South Carolina Avenue at 9:17 p.m. for a woman who was stabbed, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Arriving officers found a 55-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman both with stab wounds, the report said.
The pair were taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.
The man was pronounced dead. The woman remains hospitalized.
Tyner did not release their names nor the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
The investigation is being led by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit with assistance from Atlantic City police.
