A fight between roommates in Atlantic City led to three arrests, a handgun, and about $40,000 worth of cocaine, police said.
Officers Christian Ivanov and Scott Sendrick were called to the 600 block of Drexel Avenue just after 9 Saturday morning after one man allegedly pointed a gun at another during a dispute, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Dennis Adkins, 59, told the officers that Joe Desrosiers had pointed a handgun at his head during an argument.
Officers ordered everyone out of the home, including Desrosiers, 35, and 62-year-old James Hill, Fair said.
The investigation led to a search of the residence, where officers found almost three pounds of cocaine, a loaded handgun, and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.
The recovered cocaine has a street value of approximately $40,000.
Desrosiers, Hill, and Adkins were arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses.
Desrosiers was additionally charged with the weapon, including certain person not to possess a weapon. He had a heroin conviction when he was 18, court records show.
All three were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
NOTE: The Atlantic County Justice Facility remains barred from releasing mugshots due to a prior order by the former county prosecutor.
