Route 30 will have one lane closed in each direction Tuesday, Atlantic City police said.
The area will be between Gramercy Avenue and the turnaround traffic signal near Clayton’s Self Storage.
Drivers are advised to either allow extra time or take an alternate route, such as the Atlantic City Expressway or Route 40.
The timeframe for fully reopening the road is not known.
