Possible witness sought in Pleasantville killing

Detectives are trying to identify a man who may have witnessed a killing in Pleasantville earlier this month.
Ivan Smith, 41, was found lying on a sidewalk in the 900 block of North Main Street at about 9:19 a.m. Nov. 13, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill previously said.
Medical personnel tried to revive the Somers Point man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shill released a video and three still shots of the unknown man being sought as a witness.
Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department at 609-909-7200 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 609-652-1234. Information may also be provided to their website at www.crimestoppersatlantic.com.
The ongoing investigation is being led by the Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit with the Pleasantville police.
