Five people were jailed after guns and drugs were found inside an Egg Harbor Township home.
The recovery of a loaded Taurus handgun, a sawed-off shotgun, and more than a half-ounce of crystal methamphetamine was the result of a three-week investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit along with Egg Harbor Township police, acting county Prosecutor Cary Shill said.
Jason French, Jaime Winters, Jenny Mangano, Vincente Luna, and Richard Kelly were all charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a drug offense.
Four of the defendants live in the township. Luna, 39, lives in Vineland.
French, 41, and Luna are additionally charged with two counts of possession by a certain person not to possess a weapon due to their criminal histories.
Luna and Kelly, 37, were additionally charged with hindering.
All five were sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
