Man allegedly deceived businesses in Cape, Ocean and other counties

A Pennsylvania man is in jail after he allegedly took money from an Ocean County business and never delivered the merchandise.
William T. Newmiller Jr., 56, also had several warrants for his arrest out of municipalities in Cape May, Gloucester, Camden, Monmouth, and Delaware counties for similar charges, police said.
The Havertown man represents himself as a consultant with Kitchen Bar Consulting, selling restaurant, bar, and kitchen equipment throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, police said.
He was charged by Little Egg Harbor Township police and arrested in Ship Bottom without incident, according to the report.
After being interviewed by Little Egg police detectives, Newmiller was additionally charged with deceptive business practices, displaying/possessing false government documents, and theft of mislaid property.
He is currently in the Ocean County Jail.
