Two teens have been arrested in a shooting that wounded a 17-year-old girl in Atlantic City, police said.
A ShotSpotter alert brought patrol officers to the 700 block of Ohio Avenue just before 4 p.m. Monday, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Police arrived to find a the teenager from Atlantic City with a wound that was not considered life-threatening.
A 16- and 14-year-old were charged after an investigation by Officers Joseph Kelly and Justin Peyton.
The teens were arrested at about 2:15 Tuesday morning by Detectives Fariyd Holmes and Malik Tolbert, according to the report.
Both are charged with three counts of aggravated assault, along with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and conspiracy.
They were taken to Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
Their names will not be released due to their ages.
