An Atlantic City man was arrested with a gun during a motor vehicle stop in Brigantine earlier this week.
Edward Slatton IV, 36, was pulled over by Officer Benjamin Stambaugh at about 3 a.m. Monday in the 4100 block of Brigantine Boulevard, police said Thursday.
Slatton was arrested on an active warrant.
During the arrest, he was found to have a loaded handgun, according to the report.
Slatton was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
He remains in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
An order barring the jail from releasing mugshots made by the previous Atlantic County prosecutor remains in effect.
