Two men have been indicted in the 2013 killing of an Atlantic City man.
Abdul Bailey and Austin Clark were charged last October in the fatal shooting outside an Atlantic City convenience store.
William Clegg, 21, was lured to the spot in the 500 block of North Indiana Avenue, the state previously announced.
One of the suspects one of the men waited on the sidewalk while the other shot Clegg multiple times in the alley, according to the charges.
A grand jury recently indicted Bailey and Clark on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced Tuesday.
Bailey, 29, of Atlantic City, was also indicted on a charge of certain person not to possess a weapon.
He was arrested last October, with help from the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, the U.S. Marshall Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Marshall Service Middle Pennsylvania Regional Fugitive Task Force.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Clark, 27, of Bridgeton, has been in South Woods State Prison on robbery and carjacking convictions since 2016.
