Two Galloway Township men just released from prison were arrested Wednesday after one allegedly brandished a gun during a road rage incident, Lt. Christopher McGinty said.
Police were called to the 100 block of Liberty Court at about 3:10 p.m., Galloway Township police said.
The victims told police tha two men approached their car, but the incident that led up to it was not detailed in the release.
One of the men brandished a handgun and made threatening statements, according to the report.
An investigation led to the quick location of the vehicle, and an XD 9mm handgun was recovered, McGinty said.
Kalief Lyons, 33, and Matthew Lynch, 32, were charged with weapon and drug offenses, along with possession of crack cocaine and heroin.
Lyons was additionally charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and terroristic threats for brandishing the gun.
Both were also charged with possession by a certain person.
Lyons was released from Bayside State Prison in June, after serving a five-year sentence on drug offenses, according to state Department of Corrections records.
Both men are currently in the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting detention hearings.
