A Northfield man was three times the legal limit when he crashed his car Jan. 10, toxicology reports show.
Daniel Summers, 25, was traveling south in the oncoming lane of Tilton Road when he struck the curb in front of TD Bank and then a traffic signal at the intersection of New Road, Northfield police previously said.
Summers was trapped in his vehicle, which was split in two.
Toxicology reports now show he had more than three times the legal limit of .08 blood-alcohol level, Lt. Eric Dettinger told BreakingAC.
There was also the presence of cannabis, he said.
Summers was additionally charged with driving under the influence.
