An Egg Harbor Township man was jailed after he allegedly posted threatening statements toward a Hamilton Township school on social media.
Shafayeth Syed, 27, was charged with causing false public alarm for the remakes, which police said distressed school administration, parents and students.
Police did not say which school.
Syed was arrested on a warrant and is currently in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending.
NOTE: The Atlantic County jail does not release mugshots under a ban put in place by the former prosecutor.
