Pleasantville police are investigating after a ShotSpotter audio gunshot-detection alert Tuesday.
Police responded to the area of Main Street and Atlantic Avenue after the 1:24 p.m. alert, and found shell casings, Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.
Witnesses told police they saw a man jump from a second story window out of an apartment at 918 N. Main St., according to the report.
He fled south on Main Street toward the Walgreens, Schlachter said.
A jacket was left behind. Three handguns were also found in the immediate area, according to the report.
