The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office added three experienced law enforcement officers to its detective ranks this week.
JonMarshall Robinson, Armani Rex, and Joshua Corona were sworn in Wednesday.
“This newest addition to our investigatory team will allow ACPO to continue the essential work that we do each day and through our partnerships with other law enforcement agencies,” acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill said. “I thank these detectives for their service to our county and our communities.”
Robinson comes from the Pleasantville Police Department, while Rex was an Atlantic City police officer. Corona served as an Atlantic County sheriff’s officer.
“It is always a great decision to add experienced investigatory staff to our agency,” Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Mario Formica said. “There’s necessary work to do in Atlantic County to continue to protect our residents and visitors.”
Bruce DeShields, chief of county investigators, agreed.
“These three detectives bring vital law enforcement experience to this agency that will contribute to our ongoing mission of protecting and serving the citizens and visitors of Atlantic County,” he said. “Welcome to ACPO, Detectives JonMarshall Robinson, Armani Rex, and Joshua Corona. Now, let’s get to work.”
