Three strip club patrons have been charged in the assault of an Egg Harbor Township teen later found dead.
Jamaul Timberlake, and brothers John and Garnell Hands were arrested Wednesday night, Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.
The men are accused of assaulting Irving Mayren-Guzman, 19, in the parking lot of Centerfolds during the early morning hours of Sunday.
Timberlake, 30, of Atlantic City, and the Handses, ages 24 and 29 of Pleasantville, are charged with second-degree aggravated assault and conspiracy.
“The Pleasantville Police Department would like to express their heartfelt condolences to the family of Irving during this time,” Pleasantville Police Chief James Williams said.
The details of Mayren-Guzman’s death have not been released. Autopsy results are pending.
He was found in the marsh off Delilah Road east of the club Tuesday morning.
The three are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending detention hearings.
