A Pleasantville man was arrested in the stabbing of a teen Tuesday at Popeye's.

Police were called to the restaurant on the Black Horse Pike and Doughty Road at about 4 p.m., Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.

A 17-year-old Mays Landing man had a stab wound to his back and was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for the injury, which was not considered life-threatening.

Remon Febles-Carpio, 21, was found by Officers Korey Crosby and Michael Mabkhouti and Detective Jamal Roy at a nearby residence, according to the report.

Police did not know what caused the attack, but said the two worked at the Popeye's together.

Febles-Carpio is charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses and was being sent to the Atlantic County Justice
Facility.

He had not yet been processed through the system at the jail.
