A Pennsylvania man was driving with a suspended license when he lost control of his van on the Margate Causeway in Egg Harbor Township and overturned, charges show.
Joshua Fortier, 41, was heading west just before 9 p.m. Thursday, when he ran off the road and struck a guardrail, Lt. Robert Gray said.
The 2021 Mercedez Benz cargo van overturned and came to rest in the middle of the road, according to the report.
Fortier had multiple lacerations and other injuries, and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
Traffic was detoured for about three hours, while it was being investigated.
Fortier was issued summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to wear a seatbelt and driving with a suspended license, court record show.
