Pleasantville police ask for help finding missing man

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Pleasantville man reported missing June 10.

Shain Nelson was last seen at about 12:30 a.m. at 611 Oneida Ave., police said.

His mother told officers her son was with two males she did not recognize.

Nelson texted his mother at about 4 p.m. the next day, saying he was OK and that he was in Pleasantville, police said.

He has not been seen or heard from since.
