A Philadelphia man was found with a loaded handgun after Absecon police allegedly tied him to a stolen car.
An officer spotted the vehicle taken from Philadelphia in a carjacking in the lot of an Absecon motel while patrolling the White Horse Pike.
Tydre Nyair Burnett, 20, was arrested with a loaded gun 9mm handgun, according to the report.
Burnett was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point bullets, possession of a high-capacity magazine, receiving stolen property and possession by a certain person.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The Atlantic County jail does not release mugshots under an order by the former county prosecutor.
