A rooming house fire was brought under control quickly by Atlantic City firefighters Sunday.
The fire was on the second floor of a rooming house at 10 S. Florida Ave., Chief Scott Evans said.
A resident used two fire extinguishers on the blaze, Evans said.
The fire was brought under control by the first response on scene, he said.
The building, which houses 11 rooms, was evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
