An Atlantic City man was arrested after police allegedly saw him make several drug transactions.
Police were watching the area of Texas and Arctic avenues near Texas Avenue School at about 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, after reports that a man was selling drugs in the area, Sgt. Paul Aristizabal said.
Davaughn Williams, 25, matched the description of the man, and was seen loitering in the area and appearing to sell drugs, according to the report.
Detectives approached Williams, who was found with 10 bricks of heroin, Aristizabal said. There are 50 folds in a brick.
He also allegedly had 1.3 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 36 grams of marijuana.
He was charged with three counts of possession and possession with intent to distribute, along with two counts of possession with intent in a school zone, possession with intent within 500 feet of a public building and loitering to distribute.
The investigation was was led by Detective Chris Dodson with assistance from Detectives Alberto Valles, Chris Smith and Chris Ivanov.
Williams was released on a warrant.
