A Pleasantville man was arrested after barricading inside a Pleasantville home after violating a restraining order Saturday, police said.
Bryan Still, 30, entered the home of the victim in the 1000 block of Kline Avenue with a razor blade, Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.
The victim was able to leave the home unharmed and called police, according to the report.
He was holed up in the attic of the home, and negotiations were started with help from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the county Emergency Response Team.
Still eventually surrendered without incident, Schlachter said.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus for evaluation.
Still is charged with contempt of court, obstruction of justice, hindering apprehension and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He had a violation of a restraining order in September, court records show.
