A Pleasantville teen had to be airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center after colliding with a vehicle Saturday evening.
The 14-year-old and a vehicle collided at Ocean Heights Avenue and the bike path in Somers Point just before 6 p.m., Chief Robert Somers said.
Driver Tia Coppin, 25, of Atlantic City, was not injured.
Speed is not believed to have been a factor, Somers said.
The teen, whose name was not released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Trauma Unit and then airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.
His condition was upgraded to stable Monday night, Somers said.
