Absecon police are investigating after shots were fired at an Absecon apartment complex Monday afternoon.
Police were called to Oyster Bay off West California Avenue just after 3 p.m., according to the report.
Witnesses said the suspect was firing rounds from an AR-style rifle.
Police found evidence confirming the discharge of a rifle, according to the report.
There was no report of any injuries or property damage.
It is the second report of shots fired at the complex in two months.
Police were called to the complex after 11 p.m. Aug. 4 for a report of shots fired.
Officers found evidence that at least one firearm was discharged in the area, police said at that time.
