A potential threat to Atlantic City High School appears to be unfounded, police tell BreakingAC.
It was not clear whether the threat was even from this area, Sgt. Paul Aristizabal said.
“We’re just being proactive at this point and making sure everything is good,” he said. “There’s nothing for anybody to be concerned with.”
BreakingAC was sent a screenshot of a social media post that made a threat to “kill everyone” but it did not mention a specific school or area.
“We are aware of (a) potential threat, (and) are investigating,” read a text sent out to staff and forwarded to BreakingAC. “There is no immediate threat at the moment, and there will be police presence (at) dismissal.”
No further information was immediately available.
