A 13-year-old is charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed another teen Monday.
They arrived to find a 13-year-old bleeding heavily from a stab wound to the chest.
Officers Anthony Nastasi and Bayron Zelaya-Chavez applied a compression gauze and chest seal to the puncture wound until emergency medical personnel arrived, Aristizabal said. The boy, whose name is not being released due to his age, was then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus for treatment.
The teen suspect surrendered at the Clayton Graham Public Safety Building at about 8 p.m. with his guardian.
He was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and released to his guardian.
