An Egg Harbor City woman is one of two women who admitted to roles in he local methamphetamine trade.
Shannon Foster, 27, and Sherri Craig, 42, of Clementon, pleaded guilty in Camden Federal Court to a count each of conspiring to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine.
The two women regularly purchased methamphetamine from suppliers from March to September of last year, according to documents in the case. They conspired with one another and others to distribute the drug throughout South Jersey.
On Sept. 20, 2021, they brought $3,000 to a Camden residence to purchase methamphetamine from a supplier, according to the evidence.
The charge carries a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, with a potential maximum of 40 years.
They also face a maximum fine of $5 million.
Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 14.
