New Jersey State Police were giving Galloway Township students an closer look at what they do Monday.
Galloway Township police assured residents that the heavy police presence at Smithville and Arthur Rann schools was nothing to worry about.
Instead, it was "because our friends from the New Jersey State Police are stopping by for a visit," the Police Department announced on its Facebook page.
SWAT, aviation, mounted unit and other resources were on display for the elementary school students.
"It should be quite the exciting morning," the post exclaimed.
