An Egg Harbor Township woman allegedly went through a stop sign and struck a school bus Friday.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash.
Alison Silva, 26, was heading east on High School Drive when she failed to stop at the intersection, striking a school bus heading south on Tremont, Lt. John Heim said.
Silva's vehicle struck the rear of the school bus, causing the bus to leave the roadway into a wooded area.
No injuries were reported.
Traffic was closed for about two hours while the school bus was removed from the scene.
Silva was issued a summons for failure to stop.
The crash was investigated by Officer Nathan Lahr.
