A Bridgeton man is charged in sexual assaults of minors decades apart.
Robert Marino, now 73, was first arrested in early July on charges including aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was released following a detention hearing.
That is when another victim came forward, according to the charges.
It is alleged that Marino assaulted the victim between 1994 and 1998, when Marino was serving as a youth coach in Bridgeton and Cumberland County, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb McRae said. The victim was between the ages of 14 and 17.
Marino is again in the Cumberland County jail, awaiting another detention hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information about Marino is asked to call Bridgeton Police Detective Marna Coyne at 856-451-0033, ext. 114. Information may also be submitted online at BPD.TIPS from any computer, tablet or smartphone.
