A Cape May Court House woman allegedly used a chat platform to sexually exploit a minor and possessed various images of child sexual abuse.
Kathryn Campbell, 23, who worked as a school bus aide for the Middle Township School District, was arrested Friday, after an investigation sparked by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Middle Police Chief Jennifer Pooler said.
Campbell's Hand Avenue home was searched and "several items of evidentiary value were seized from the residence and found to contain items of suspected child sexual abuse material," the announcement read.
Campbell is charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child (manufacturing child pornography), and two third-degree charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
She is in the Cape May County Correctional Center pending a detention hearing.
