An Atlantic City woman was arrested for stealing packages from a porch.
Police were called to the 1200 block of Indiana Avenue at 6:12 p.m. Monday for the report of a woman stealing packages, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Officer La'Tray Butcher saw surveillance video showing the woman drive toward the residence and steal the packages, according to the report. Butcher then put out a photo of the vehicle and suspect.
Officers James Eckert and Rashawn Cochran saw the vehicle the next day, and stopped it, Fair said.
The driver, Shatima Moore-Lampkin, matched the suspect's description and had outstanding warrants, according to the report.
The officers also saw opened packages in her backseat that were identical to the stolen items, Fair said.
Moore-Lampkin, 35, was arrested without incident.
She was charged with receiving stolen property and jailed.
Moore-Lampkin was released Friday morning, jail records show.
