Absegami High School sheltered in place briefly Wednesday afternoon due to a medical situation with a student.
“Our school nurse and EMS were notified and the student received appropriate treatment,” the text sent to parents said.
The shelter was initiated at about 12:15 p.m. with regular schedule resuming around 12:32 p.m., according to the notification.
No other details were released.
