Five people were arrested as part of an operation targeting drug distribution in Atlantic City.
Detective Christopher Dodson led surveillance in the first block of South Tennessee Avenue, after complaints from residents and local businesses about drugs in the area, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Police recovered 48 grams of cocaine, three grams of heroin and more than three grams of ecstasy, according to the report..
Sgt. Daniel Arra and Officers Jesse Oliver-Logan, Anthony Nastasi, Nickolas Cardani and Gissell Garcia aided in the investigation.
City residents Mikye Degraffenreidt, 24 and Louis Murphy, 21, were charged with drug possession, distribution and loitering and sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Murphy has since been released, records show. Degraffenreidt — listed as Deggraffenreidt in the jail system — remains in custody. f a public zone, and loitering to buy or sell drugs.
Degraffenreidt and Murphy were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Qashira Cooper, 24, also of Atlantic City, faces the same charges, but was released on a summons.
Ja’mir Holmes, 25, of Pleasantville, and Cecil Morgan, 34, of Atlantic City, are charged with possession and loitering and were also released on summonses.
