Third person charged in Atlantic City man's killing

A Pleasantville man is the third person charged in the killing of an Atlantic City man in December.

Fuquan Moore, 20, is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit of murder and weapons offenses in the killing of Timothy Council Jr.

The 27-year-old victim was found wounded near the High Gate on Absecon Boulevard by police responding to a ShotSpotter alert just before 11 p.m. Dec. 5.

He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was pronounced dead.

Council died of a single gunshot wound.

Two Atlantic City teens have already been detained in the case.

Oquan Thomas, 18, and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested within days of one another shortly after the shooting.

Surveillance footage shows muzzle flashes from the area where three suspects were during the shooting, BreakingAC previously reported, quoting the affidavit of probable cause.

The third defendant was not named in the affidavit, which said the suspect were seen running into an apartment in Carver Hall.

ShotSpotter captured 23 rounds fired in the area, the affidavit states.

Council worked at the Auto Zone, according to his obituary.

He was heading to his job there when he was shot, sources have told BreakingAC.
