Atlantic City man convicted of threatening, stalking EHT judge

  • News

An Atlantic City man was convicted of making terrorist threats and stalking a judge.

Nathaniel Russell, 59, stalked Egg Harbor Township Municipal Court Judge Marc Nehmad for more than eight months, beginning in August of 2021.

He would leave violent and threatening messages for Nehmad, according to the allegations.

Russell was arrested in 2021, after the initial threats were made, but continued his tirade of calls, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

A jury convicted him after a three-day trial that began Tuesday.

He is scheduled to be sentenced June 7 before Superior Court Judge Pamela D'Arcy.
