Atlantic City police get U.S. flag retirement drop box

Residents now have a place to dispose of their flags properly.

The Atlantic City Police Department joined with the American Legion to dedicate a U.S. Flag Retirement Drop Box in the Clayton G. Graham Public Safety Building.

Anyone who needs to dispose of their old flag can drop it in the box for proper dispoal.

The Atlantic City Po for a dedication ceremony of the newly installed U.S. Flag Retirement Drop Box.

Funds from the Atlantic City Police Foundation were used to purchase the box.

There will be a flag disposal ceremony on Flag Day, June 14, at Bader Field.
