A former juvenile detention center worker was indicted for allegedly providing contraband to residents of the facility.

Marc Snead, 30, of Vineland, was originally charged in June, after an investigation at the Harborfields Youth Detention Center where he was a youth services worker, according to the charges.

Snead provided juvenile residents with marijuana vape pens in exchange for money sent electronically by the residents' friends and family, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

The case was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Professional Standards and
Accountability Unit with cooperation from the Harborfields Youth Detention Center.
