  • News

A Somers Point man wanted in the fatal shooting of his uncle in Maryland died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Atlantic City, BreakingAC confirmed.

Elijah Drew, 29, was tracked to the area by Prince George's County police and federal investigators.

Lewis Parker Sr., 62, was found suffering from a gunshot wound by Prince George's police responding to a call shortly after 11:45 p.m. Monday, from WUSA9.

Parker was taken to an area hospital, where he died a short time later, the station reported. It was not clear what led up to the shooting.

Police were seen searching Stanley Holmes Village on Tuesday. A source confirmed to BreakingAC that it was part of that investigation.

Drew later died of a gunshot wound in what was described as a suicide.
