Egg Harbor Township stabbing suspect turns himself in

An Egg Harbor Township man wanted in the stabbing of a teen last month has tu bed himself in.

Mikal Williams-Bunch, 18, faces charges including aggravated assault and conspiracy in the attack that left another 18-year-old wounded. years of age, of Egg Harbor Township.

Police were called to Childs-Kirk Memorial Park off Idlewood Avenue just after 6 p.m. March 29.

The victim's name was not released.

The investigation by township detectives led to the arrest of a 15-year-old township teen shortly after the attack.

The 15-year-old township teen's name was not released due to his age.

Williams-Bunch's charges include the employing of a juvenile in the commission of a crime, Capt. Cherie Burgan said.

Burgan previously said all involved knew one another.

Williams-Bunch surrendered himself within hours of police asking the public to help locate him. 

He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
