Jordan Geller happened to be in the right place at the right time last week.
The Ocean City resident not only saw a group of dolphins splashing in the ocean at the Fifth Street beach, but he captured the spectacular display of nature on his drone.
“I was watching the Seventh Street wave camera on my phone and I saw the dolphins swimming, so, I raced there with my DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone,” Geller said Sunday.
“It was such a lucky shot," he said. "I was hovering directly above them.”
Geller, a 40-year-old surfer, said he has seen more dolphins in the past two years than he remembers in previous years.
And while he bought the drone to film local surfers, he definitely is excited to be able to use it to get images of dolphins and other marine life and nature.
The dolphins put on a show in Ocean City.
