Galloway man gets 10 years for drugs and gun charges

  • Crime-Courts

A former Atlantic City MUA worker was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug and gun charges.

Alfred Fuller, 49, of Galloway Township, was working for the Municipal Utilities Authority when he was arrested Aug. 9, 2021.

Search warrants served on his home, his vehicle and two storage units led to about 342 bricks of heroin — or 17,100 bags — along with a Daewoo .40-caliber handgun loaded with 10 rounds.

Police also seized $27,170 in cash.

“I haven’t been in trouble in 15 years,” Fuller told the judge at a detention hearing days after his arrest.

Fuller had keys to both storage units on him when he was arrested, along with a key to the safe found in one of the units where the handgun was located.

He must serve at least five years before he is eligible for parole.
