The a cappella group The Maccabeats will bring “A Maccabeats Hanukkah” to Stockton University's Performing Arts Center next Sunday.
The all-male, 14-member group uses just their voices and humor on Jewish parodies of songs, from "Latke Recipe" to the tune of Walk the Moon's "Shut Up and Dance" to "Happy Hanukkah" sung to the tune from "The Office."
The show begins 2 p.m. at the Arts Center on the Galloway Township campus.
The group formed in 2007, as Yeshiva University’s student vocal group. They have since acquired a large fanbase with more than 20 million views on their YouTube channel and four successful albums.
Tickets are $25 for the general public, and $23 for senior citizens 65 and older, military, Stockton alumni, faculty and staff. Tickets for children younger than 12 and current Stockton students.
