  • Public Safety

Four people were displaced by a fire in Atlantic City late Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Arizona Avenue, where flames could  be seen out of the second-floor window, Fire Chief Scott Evans said.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the two adults and two children displaced.

Firefighters brought the fire under control quickly, confining it to the second floor, Evans said. They also kept it from spreading to teh attached buildings.

Engines 1, 3, 4 and 6 responded, along with Ladder 2, Rescue 1, Safety 1 and DC 1.
