Pleasantville police responded to two crashes in about two hours Wednesday on West Washington Avenue.
Joshua Valezquez, 19, of Atlantic City, wzs unable to stop his vehicle at about 4:30 p.m. rear-ending a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Tiffany Perpiglia-McNeal, 33, of Mays Landing, near the intersection with Ireland Avenue, Capt. Angelo Maldonado said.
The force pushed Perpiglia-McNeal's vehicle into a Nissan Altima driven by Peter Thornton, 30, of Egg Harbor Township.
The area was blocked off to traffic until the Chevrolet and Honda were towed from the scene, Maldonado said. Thornton and Perpiglia-McNeal were treated by EMS on scene, but were not taken to the hospital.
A second crash took happened about two hours later at the intersection with North Second Street, according to the report.
Alexis Firpo, 26, of Mays Landing, drove his Acura ILX into the intersection in order to clear his path of travel, Maldonado said. However, Firpo’s vehicle collided with a passing Nissan driven by Olman Rodriguez-Campo, 35, of Atlantic City, who was heading west on Washington Avenue.
The Acura was towed from the scene, but no injuries were reported.
